Explaining Treatment in Layman’s Terms

The best consultations eliminate technical jargon. If a parent doesn’t understand what you’re saying, they won’t feel confident moving forward. Patients don’t need to hear about occlusal discrepancies or interproximal reduction—they need to hear:

• “Your child’s bite is off, which could cause problems later.”
• “We can fix this in about 18 months, and the sooner we start, the easier it’ll be.”
• “We’ll make it super easy with flexible payment options.”

By keeping things simple, clear, and relatable, you make it easier for patients to say yes.
