Finding the Right Balance for Your Practice

If you’re struggling with pricing decisions, here’s my advice:

• Know your market. If your area is affluent, you may succeed with a boutique model. If it’s middle-class, affordability will drive growth.
• Choose treatments that maximize efficiency and profit. Invisalign may work well in some offices, but for me, braces proved to be the smarter long-term option.
• Keep pricing simple. Patients get overwhelmed with complex pricing structures. Make it easy for them to say yes.
• Remember: Lower prices don’t mean lower quality. Many orthodontists fear that offering competitive pricing will “devalue” their services. The truth is, affordable pricing combined with great patient experience creates trust, volume, and long-term success.
